Sjoe! Sunday is nearly over! I expected it to be much harder to do the challenge over the weekend. But I have surprised myself. Yesterday we took our boys to Milky Lane and all I had was a coffe. And the my husband decided he felt like an Anat Schwarma and slap chips, and I wasn’t even tempted. I came home and made myself my challenge food. Today I made the gemsquash and mince for lunch. It was DELICIOUS. And I must say, very filling, so probably something to think about making for yourself, if you are really hungry on any particular day. But I’ve glad I’ve resisted temptation. Was really dreading the weekend – but it’s nearly done, and I’ve managed ot keep temptation at bay. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone and good luck for this week.

Some words from me
I am a Mom, a wife and ME. I am 40 years old and I love life and everything that goes with it. However, since I've had my last child, I have really struggled to lose weight. I've tried all the diets out there, but when things weren't happening fast enough, I just threw in the towel. On my 40th birthday last year in November, I made a promise to myself, that I would get the OLD me back. The spark, the spontaneity, the love for life girl, and shed all the weight. It is my goal to do that before I turn 41. I visited the Slender Wonder sight by chance and to my surprise found that they were running a challenge. I entered. I've never been chosen for anything before and I was so surprised to find out that I had made it through. So here starts the journey to the new/old me. Thank-you slender wonder for the opportunity and the challenge. Ready, set, Go! Get ready for the slimmer me!
