Some words from me

I am 32 years old and ever since I finished school I battled with my weight due to the fact that I wasn’t as active as then. What made the problem worse as the fact that i developed a spastic colon along the way and had to go for an operation to remove a piece of my colon. After the op, I have been on so many different diet plans that I have lost count and not the weight. I got engaged on my birthday last year and the date have been set with all excitement and the planning started to steamroll on until it got to dress fittings… One dress after the other, I was disgusted with myself as to what I see in the mirrors of each and every appointment. I felt like I will never find my dream dress and I will not look picture perfect on my wedding day. My fiancé is a stunning guy and got the looks and built to go with it. And I want to match the same image on our big day, I want him to stand proud next to me and make the most perfect memories together. I literally stumbled across the Slender Wonder Challenge website and here I am – Motivated and can’t wait to start! I WILL have the body to match the rest of my perfect day and my happily ever after!

Day 2 almost done – Prep for detox

Posted on: March 4th, 2013 No Comments

So here we are at almost the close of day 2 of gorging. But I’m way too excited for tomorrows detox! My fruit are weighed and packed in the fridge, my supplements are prearranged and packed in containers, reminders set on my phone for when to take what and I feel like I have gained pharmacist degree after that! LOL.

Today I woke up and jabbed myself in the hip/bum. Did not feel to great today… Was in no mood for eating, so had a muffin for breakfast with an apple, toasted cheese sandwich for lunch and loads of coffee during the day. My heart rate felt a little faster than normal and was quite shaky and legs feeling half lump and numb like I did the comrades marathon. But now I feel a little bit better and busy makinf Pasta with loads of cheese as I bid my normal food farewell. I plan to stop and get a chocolate for after gym… I know my trainer won’t believe me when I say I HAVE TO!

Hope all you lovely ladies are enjoying your “last supper”. Let’s get this party started!!! :)
